We were looking for a nice, romantic restaurant and place to grab drinks. This was it. Very modern. Great Atmosphere, Great Food, and Great Staff. Ask for Drew!

Great customer service but as for the food it wasn't really that good. The calamari had to much batter on it and the sauce tasted like it came from a can. We also ordered two mixed drinks and they weren't consistent in taste. But the crispy chicken wings were perfect.

I loved the food when it was at the blvd...I hated my meal here! I ordered the crab stuffed salmon, the salmon was over cooked and had no season and it was wrapped around a bread filled crab cake...nasty.

If I could, this might be 2.5 stars. This place has a major identity crisis as it has a sports theme with loud R&B music on one side and very fancy set plus TVs with loud jazzy-type music. Both types of music are clearly heard from the dining room which cancels out the ambience and decor. The outdoor sign says lunch specials are $9.99 but they charge $12.99 on the menu. 25-30 minute ticket time at lunch when I was the only person in the place and I ordered off the lunch menu. That was a little annoying. But the food was ok. I had meatballs with pasta. Some small veg would have been nice for the extra $3 from the sign.

Ok...Where do I begin? I know where the atmosphere! When we walked in NO ONE was there to great us. So we stood around not quit knowing what to do fir a few minutes until we were greeted and seated by a nice gentleman. Ok so for the Dining area. I was confused...There are Televisions on the wall like a Sports Bar yet white table colths and place settings like a Fine Dining Restaurant. Then there is this annoying strobe light show and R & B music blasting like your at Cabaret or an old 70's Basement party. So now for the food. For Appetizer we had the Crab Bread. It was just alright. Being as though it was on french bread I was assuming it would be crunchy well it wasn't it was very soft and could taste more of the cheese than the crab. It was bland. For Entrée I had the Crab Cake platter. It was good. They give you two and they are a nice size. Small but still enough. My Husband had the Catfish Entrée. He wasn't pleased. The Catfish sits on top of Sautéed Spinach which sits on a Sweet Potato Hash. The bottom of the Catfish was a little soggy because of the spinach which made it not that enjoyable. Service wasn't to bad. We had JoJo. She was nice and helpful. Will I come back? NO! Would I recommend this spot? NO! This Owner really needs to figure out what He/She wants it to be...A Sports Bar, Fine Dining Restaurant or an Oldies Lounge.

Went here with a few friends who were in town and craving something on the seafood spectrum without traveling too far from their hotel. We were a little disappointed with a few things right away. No Titos and no Captain Morgan's. I'm a Titos guy, so this is always a bad start. A cool vibe in the bar area, funky lighting, and many TVs. Seems like a good place to see a game. Bartender kept getting one of our drinks wrong but she was very nice. We had some crab cakes and calamari as an appetizer which were both just ok. Our entrees...stuffed salmon, fish tacos, and my salad with Salmon were all decent, but not knock your socks off good. I'd recommend this place as a game day venue and not a dinner spot, but not knowing the area we could have done much worse I'm sure.

The food was excellent for the price. I had the catfish appetizer and it was delicious. The tilapia salad was also better tan expected. I went for lunch. The location was had to find and it felt like I stepped into a night club/ sports bar in the middle of the day. The hostess was our waitress. And business looked slow. They made up for all of that with excellent food. My lunch companion had the sliders which was also excellent. The burger was cooked a perfect med rare which is hard to do apparently given all the places that have cooked all the nourishment out of my slider. But I digress. Great food. Almost perfect for that reason alone.

Maybe 2.5 stars. Came here for lunch one day and was impressed. But not so much today after work. Had drinks and appetizers, and our waitress Nitta was inattentive, spending more time with the table next to us, leaving our water glasses empty, and bringing one of three appetizers to our table. The calamari tasted like it had been fried in chicken grease, the crab bread was delish and so were the wings in special Mambo sauce with a kick.

I love this restaurant even when it was located at The Blvd. The food is great, the atmosphere is ok. It makes it even better when you have a groupon. The Ceasar salad w/ the blackened salmon was cooked to perfection. The drinks were not that great, thats why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

It is located in New Carrolton not Hyattsville. i went on Friday April 24th for Happy Hour from 4- 8 p.m.! The food was awesome! The bartender Greg was on point! I had the Catfish fingers requested it to be Blacken of course! The Wings were good. I think the next I go I will request the Wings be spicier:-) The live music was Reggae and they started about 7:30. The band was good! The atmosphere was nice and a great place for couples! i will be going back again!

Nice set up with great drinks and live music. Fresh seafood which is rare to find in this area...I loved the blackened salmon and crab bread.

I'm rating this place for its bar and atmosphere, I didn't try any of the food although it sounded great. When I first walked up to the restaurant I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The mixed reviews with a downward trend were almost enough to deter me from checking it out. The first thing I noticed before even walking in was the great live r&b coming from inside, this was already a big plus. There's a cute lounge area set up outside the front door, although as I popped in pretty early there wasn't anyone outside yet. As I walked in (the door was opened for me by an employee, which is always nice) I was greeted by a lovely host that gave me the option of grabbing a seat in the dining room close to the band or the bar. I chose the bar and was pleased by the wide selection of alcohol offered (they even he potato vodka, which is hard to find at some bars). I'll also add that not only was the place clean, but had a cool lighting all through the bar area that gave it a very hip feel. My bartender ( I think he's blame was Gregory) was funny, and helpful. Although the bar menu had a variety of specialty drinks that looked great I stuck with my usual: martini, dirty, no olives, potato vodka, stirred not shaken. He made my drink exactly the way I asked!! Believe it or not this doesn't always happen. The rest of the night went on exactly the same- great service, great music, great drinks. What more can you ask for? I took off one star because of the state of the bathroom- not trucker bad but a little dirty, and outdated. Very different from the manicured restaurant and bar portion. Also the prices were not the cheapest but not terrible either. If you're in the area and looks for a fun place to get a little r&b this is the place for you. I recommend you give it a shot. Enjoy!

Shrimp and grits is a must. So delish. The service was great and the food was even better. I love grits, however I have never tasted grits this good. And I've had grits from North Carolina to New Orleans and Chile none of the place that I've been, including my own kitchen compare to these grits. The shrimp and sausage was pretty tasty as well. The atmosphere is white table cloth. It is a great place to take a date. My daughter got the crab stuffed salmon and it put some seafood restaurants to shame. I will be going back again.

My family and I attended an event at the Stonefish Grill last night and it took 2 hours for my order to come out. The manager was saying one thing about menu items and the server had another story. The waitress was Excellent. The manager was Horrible. You should know what menu items you have in your establishment, and the waitress should let the table know when placing the order. When the crabcakes came out the were dry and had no flavor. I will never come back to this establishment. The manager only took off 50% for my meal. If I wasn't attending an event at this establishment we would have left.

Love this restaurant! The wings are amazing and the cornbread makes you want to lick your fingers. The Mac and cheese and calamari are underwhelming. I recommend the seafood pasta entree sautéed spinach and broccolini. The drinks are pretty good and they have comedy night weekly on Thursdays. The environment is kinda romantic, large booth style tables, white tablecloths but huge big screen tvs so it's a great place for sports as well.

Nice place to go for an intimate date. The blackened salmon is really good and the staff is very friendly. They even have live music on certain nights. The Friday I went they had an excellent reggae band perform.

Has a lot of potential. Bartender is inexperienced. Had to ask him for napkins and to refill my drink. Ordered the crab cakes. They had a lot of filler. Taste like cardboard.

Really like 1 1/2 stars. The service is terrible. Stood at the bar (not very crowded) and the bartenders didn't even acknowledge me. They even leaned against the register....Chillin while I'm leaned into the bar. So I left, sat at a table and finally ordered calamari and a beer. The waitress didn't clear the previous mess or bring me silverware....or check on me. Horrible service.

Enjoyed a great lunch with my Mother at Stonefish Grill today. Our server Nita was an excellent waitress, very friendly and attentive. We had the crab dip/bread and the mussels for our appetizers which were both very good. My Mother had the house salad and the Maryland crab soup for her main course. The soup was more of a cream of crab soup then a traditional Maryland crab soup which is tomato based but she still enjoyed it very much. I had the crab stuffed salmon which was very good for my main course. Overall the food was good, staff is friendly, an the ambiance is very nice. I would definitely suggest this place and plan on coming back very soon!!

Food was mediocre and took forever. Service was not up to par. Had to continually ask for refills. Atmosphere was weird. Would be a fun disco on a Saturday but not to eat dinner.
